20 Weeks.

Is it just me, or do you hear Bon Jovi in your head as well?

"We're halfway there....whoa-oh, livin' on a prayer...."

I've been singing this tune all day (yes, out loud...and no, probably not in key). I don't care though because tomorrow marks 20 weeks, the halfway point until we meet our sweet babe, and I'm just so happy! It's hard to believe that 20 weeks have already flown by, and it's scary to think how fast the next 20 will go. I have to admit, pregnancy has not been an easy road so far, but life sure does look better on the other side of morning sickness and hormonal craziness! Our to-do list is still a mile long, but we couldn't be more thrilled to meet this precious little one that's fluttering away in my belly.

Speaking of belly...mine has certainly been a growin'! My belly really popped during Week 19, and I feel like I'm finally past the awkward stage of just looking like I had a few too many cookies (which is usually the case) and now just look pregnant. Hooray! It's the small victories. I can't say it has been a very comfortable transition, but it is still exciting because it means baby is getting bigger and stronger. My belly has felt so unbelievably tight, and there are definitely "growing pains." I keep telling Adam that I feel like my belly is just going to burst! I can't imagine how it will feel in the weeks to come. It's truly a miracle how God has so perfectly designed the woman's body to grow a little person. I'm in awe of our Creator!

It was a beautiful, sunny fall day here in Manhattan...my favorite kind of day during my favorite time of year. It provided the perfect opportunity to get outside and take pictures of the bump at 20 weeks! Big sister, Sadie, joined in on the fun.

Praising God for this little miracle and hoping you all had a wonderful Sunday...

Blessings to you and yours.
